Ozone is one of nature's most effective sanitisers, but in the past, many operators in the horticulture industry tried it and said 'it didn't work'. In almost every case the problem wasn't the ozone itself - it was how that ozone production was being controlled.   

Because coolstores vary in size and the produce they store, you need to work out the specific details for its usage, to ensure the correct levels of ozone are being pushed into that space.

SIMPLE, ONE TOUCH OPERATION

The Biocool Ozone System has been designed for simplicity with fully automated processes delivering controlled ozone doses into the rooms airflow. This process utilises the existing airflow system within the coolstore fed via PVC ducting with uniformed exit holes, distributing ozone evenly to the back of all of the fans to maximise complete mixing and accurate control. Ozone attacks ethylene as it is being produced removing the triggering process for fruit and produce while providing high performance fungal and bacterial control.
